The Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT is a padel racket developed for advanced and professional players with an attacking style who are looking for maximum power and immediate response. This model is a limited edition, developed in collaboration with Ale Galán, and is perfectly suited to a playing style that focuses on dominance, tempo, and finishing.
This version is available exclusively worldwide at Justpadel. This makes it not only a technically advanced racket, but also a unique model that you cannot buy anywhere else. Within the Metalbone line, the Reserve EDT ranks above the regular Pro models and is emphatically not an all-round or comfortable racket, but a distinctly power-oriented model.
What type of player is this racket suitable for?
The Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT is primarily suitable for high-level left-handed players who want to finish the point with smashes, volleys, and aggressive overheads. Players who take the initiative, dominate the net, and have confidence in their timing and technique will get the most out of this racket.
In addition, this racket can also be used by right-handed players who play very aggressively, often turn and actively participate in the finish. This racket is not suitable for right-handed players who mainly control, play a lot of rallies and look for margin of error.
Key features
The diamond shape provides a high sweet spot, which gives maximum support for attacking shots. The balance is clearly towards the top and is reinforced by the Power Extra Grip, which provides extra leverage and power for smashes and overheads.
The hitting surface is constructed from 16K Carbon Aluminized and has a hard feel. The blade is stiff, direct, and not very flexible, with short ball contact time and very direct feedback. This provides a lot of power and precision on clean contact, but results in a smaller sweet spot and less forgiveness. The blade is clearly harder than on Team or Veron models.
The core consists of EVA Soft Performance, which provides just enough cushioning to keep the racket playable without taking away its hard and explosive character. The Spin Blade structure on the blade supports extra spin on topspin and slice without softening the direct feel.

On the court, the Adidas Metalbone Reserve EDT feels hard, explosive, and extremely direct. The racket delivers maximum speed and impact on smashes and volleys. In defensive situations and on off-center hits, the racket is unforgiving and requires calm, technique, and good positioning.
