The HEAD Extreme Team 2025 is a padel racket designed for intermediate players who want to play offensively, but also value comfort and forgiveness. This model is the most accessible variant in the Extreme line and is the alternative for players who find the Extreme Pro or MP too hard and too demanding.
The Extreme Team 2025 is not an all-round control racket, nor is it an extreme power model. It is an offensive racket with a softer tuning, intended for players who want to develop their attack without immediately playing with a hard blade.
What type of player is this racket suitable for?
The HEAD Extreme Team 2025 is suitable for intermediate players who are increasingly playing offensively. The Racket is a good fit for left-handed players who want to smash and put pressure on their opponents, but still need comfort and a larger sweet spot.
This racket is also suitable for right-handed players who play more aggressively and participate more often in the finish. For right-handed players who play purely for control and long rallies, rounder models are more logical.
For very advanced players looking for maximum precision and a hard blade, the Extreme Team is less suitable.
Key features
The diamond shape provides a high sweet spot, which provides support for offensive shots such as smashes and overheads. The balance is towards the top, but remains manageable due to the softer material choice.
The hitting surface is made of fiberglass and has a soft to medium feel. The blade is clearly not hard and offers more ball contact time, comfort, and forgiveness than the carbon variants in the Extreme line. This comes at the expense of direct power, but makes the racket much more accessible.
The core consists of Power Foam, which ensures a lively but comfortable ball exit. Vibrations are well dampened, keeping the racket arm-friendly during more intense play.
Playing feel and performance
