The shoe is designed for men who play intensively and with control from the baseline and expect maximum stability, cushioning, and protection. The Slam Classic builds on the proven technologies of the Slam but adds targeted reinforcements in the areas of heel support, fit, and construction for players who have extra demands on their footwear.

The shoe is a good fit for players who move from the baseline, make a lot of lateral movements, and need full foot support in every phase of the movement. Thanks to the Dual Reactive midsole and the Exo Counter heel reinforcement, the Slam Classic is also a good choice for players who are prone to heel or ankle injuries and consciously choose a shoe that actively protects the foot during high-impact movements and quick changes of direction.

How does the Joma Slam Classic Men’s fit?

The Joma Slam Classic has a lightweight yet sturdy fit that snugly wraps around the foot without pinching. Joma’s Sportech system ensures a seamless construction where thermal adjustments are applied to strategic areas of the upper, providing a comfortable fit without pressure points. The lacing system features flat laces and TPU loops integrated into the upper for extra support and a stable lockdown of the foot.
The shoe runs true to size. If you have a wider forefoot or are unsure between two sizes, going up half a size may be more comfortable.

Does the Joma Slam Classic Men's feature extra cushioning

The Joma Slam Classic offers medium to high cushioning with a responsive feel. The midsole consists of two layers: an upper layer of high-density phylon that provides stability and support, and a lower layer with Reactive Ball compound that absorbs shocks with every landing while simultaneously providing a rebound for energy return during push-off. This combination ensures a well-cushioned yet responsive stride that remains comfortable even during longer matches.
The Exo Counter reinforcement at the heel provides extra protection and comfort in the heel area, reducing stress during repeated push-off movements.

Stability and Grip of the Joma Slam Classic Men’s

Stability is a central feature of this model. The Stabilis System, a TPU reinforcement in the narrowest part of the sole, prevents unwanted foot rotation and provides torsional stiffness during rapid lateral movements and explosive stops. The breathable mesh upper with VTS technology ensures a constant airflow that keeps foot temperature stable during intense playing sessions.

The outsole is made of Durability rubber with a wear-resistant profile designed to slow down wear on padel court surfaces and ensure long-lasting grip. The combination of stability, cushioning, and grip makes the Slam Classic a reliable choice for players who demand a lot from their footwear.
