The Babolat Movea 2 is the stable, protective model in Babolat’s range of padel shoes and is designed for players who put a lot of pressure on their footwork. This Brown/Cream version is the darkest colourway in the range: a deep brown upper with a matching brown midsole, intersected by a cream-white Babolat stripe running down the side. The bright orange of the outsole and the sole edge is the only contrasting colour running around the entire forefoot.

The Movea 2 is ideal for players who play physically, push off hard and value Protection and lateral Support. The STRAP-LOCK strap wraps round the foot and secures the midfoot, whilst the upper is made from MCS mesh (Mesh Cooling System), which is 70 per cent recycled material and keeps the foot cool. Players who are primarily looking for a minimalist shoe that is as light as possible will find this model feels sturdier.

How does the Babolat Movea 2 Brown/Cream fit?

Babolat produces the Movea 2 with a standard last and a 10 mm heel-to-toe drop. The shoe fits snugly around the midfoot and heel, partly due to the STRAP-LOCK construction. Order your usual size. Babolat does not provide any specific sizing advice for this model; if you have a wider forefoot, bear in mind that the standard last fits snugly around the foot.

Does the Babolat Movea 2 Brown/Cream offer extra cushioning?

Under the heel is the KPRS-X system, a highly cushioned EVA insert that absorbs the impact of landing and braking. On top of this is a COMF+ insole, the foam of which consists of 83 per cent recycled material. This combination provides noticeable protection in the heel area during longer playing sessions.

Stability and grip of the Babolat Movea 2 Brown/Cream

The midsole rises on the outer side, forming a raised rim that absorbs lateral forces; this is the key feature underpinning the stability of this model. The outsole was developed in collaboration with Michelin, featuring a rubber compound and a stud pattern optimised for sand and artificial grass, as well as 360° Flex grooves that allow the shoe to flex during changes of direction.
