The World Padel Tour is the largest professional padel circuit in the world. Every week different couples compete against each other at the highest level. This has created several new couples, which fans and experts have been working on for months. There are several reasons for the reconnection in the World Padel Tour.

These two top players are in first place since their first season together in 2020. Many players are keen to beat this duo, but that can be quite difficult. These Spaniards have won many competitions over the past three years. Last season they even won 14 tournaments! The second couple who have known each other for some time are Álex Ruiz and Momo González. Both men were asked by other players to form a couple with them, but these WPT top players decided to remain a couple. And rightly so: Ruiz and González are friends on and off the field and were in the final twice last season. So we have to keep a close eye on this couple!

Paquito Navarro and Juan Tello
There is something special going on with this couple: they have already announced that they want to find another partner. The WPT pre-season has been going on for a while now. Two of the three first tournaments were outdoor, which meant that Navarro and Tello had to adjust their playing style in such a way that a victory was not even in sight. The men hoped to achieve a better result at La Rioja, an indoor tournament that was scheduled third. However, a victory was not forthcoming.
This couple therefore decided to get used to a new partner during the two weeks of rest they now have. Both are players now looking for a partner who can play on the right side. Experts say that at least two more couples will change as a result.

Arturo Coello and Agustin Tapia
These top players won the last tournament in Chile against LeBron and Galan! They even won thirteen consecutive games in the meantime; That bodes well for the coming season! Once they get comfortable with each other they should be able to beat anyone.
Fernando Belasteguín and Daniel Sanyo Gutiérrez
Two of the best padel players in the world join forces! We are very curious to see how many points this couple will score this season with their high-quality rackets . These men have already played six tournaments together in 2021, of which they have already won several. Last season, both top players had to look for a new partner. The choice quickly fell into place; both players were looking for a left-handed partner who could handle their level, and there aren't many...
Franco Stupaczuk and Martin di Nenno
This special couple reunites after eight years. The men have already won many matches together in Argentina. Originally they both prefer the left side of the field. We look forward to seeing these guys play; their padel rackets support a mix of the fast padel game we know today and the classic old-school playing style of padel.

- Maxis Sánchez and Lucas Campagnolo
- Coki Nieto and Pablo Lima
- Both players belong to the absolute top when it comes to a defensive playing style. It will be a surprise how well this couple is attuned to each other. They had less time to train together because Lima still had to be in Brazil.
