Stiga Cybershape 18K X Hard
The Stiga Cybershape 18K X Hard is the most powerful and most advanced padel racket in the Cybershape range and has been developed for experienced to competitive players seeking maximum speed, precision and control at high speeds. This model combines the materials and finish of the well-known 18K series with a harder Power Foam core, resulting in an explosive and highly direct response.
This is not an all-round or comfortable racket. The 18K X Hard is a dedicated performance racket, designed for players who perform under pressure and want to maintain complete control in every rally.
What type of player is this racket suitable for?
The Stiga Cybershape 18K X Hard is particularly suited to left-hand players at advanced to professional level who want to dominate the point and finish it off with high ball speed, aggressive overheads and powerful volleys. Players with an active swing and good timing will get the most out of this racket.
In addition, this racket is also suitable for right-hand players competing at a high level who deliberately choose a hard, direct racket to control the pace and accelerate when necessary. Due to its demanding nature, this racket is not suitable for beginners or recreational players. It is suitable for both men and women with strong technique.
Key features
The Cybershape design provides a sweet spot approximately 20 per cent larger than that of traditional round rackets. This sweet spot is positioned higher and further out on the face, offering extra confidence on attacking shots and balls close to the glass. The balance is medium to medium-high, which supports power whilst maintaining control.
The hitting surface is constructed from 18K carbon and has a firm feel. The face is very stiff and extremely responsive, with a short ball contact time. Combined with the firmer Power Foam core, this delivers maximum ball speed and explosiveness, but with a clear demand for technique and timing. This is undoubtedly a firm racket.
The frame consists of the 360 Carbon Frame, made entirely of carbon, which ensures high stability and a quick response, even when facing powerful balls from the opponent. The surface is finished with Crystal Grip, which allows for extra spin and control on volleys, viboras and smashes.
The long grip offers extra leverage and space for two-handed shots. The wrist strap is detachable and easy to replace.
Feel and performance
On the court, the Stiga Cybershape 18K X Hard feels extremely fast, explosive and highly precise. On full swings, the racket accelerates effortlessly and remains stable, even at maximum speed. Smashes come off the face hard and crisp, whilst you retain plenty of control in fast rallies. In defensive situations and with off-centre contact, the racket offers little forgiveness, clearly positioning it as a racket for players who have their technique under control.
The Cybershape 18K X Hard is therefore a clear choice for players seeking a rock-hard, technical and power-oriented top-of-the-range racket, designed for maximum speed, precision and dominance, within Stiga’s performance range.
