Bullpadel XPLO 27
The Bullpadel XPLO 2027 is a powerful padel racket for experienced players who build their game entirely around the attack. Designed by Martín Di Nenno, the racket combines a hybrid shape with a very high balance point and a carbon face, allowing you to generate a lot of power and speed behind the ball. The XPLO is designed for players who want to dominate at the net and seek maximum power on volleys, bandejas, and especially smashes.
What type of player is this racket suitable for?
The Bullpadel XPLO 2027 was developed for advanced, competitive, and professional players with a distinctly offensive playing style. The racket performs best in the hands of technically skilled players who can generate sufficient speed on their own and prefer to close out points from an offensive position.
With a balance point of approximately 27 cm, the weight is clearly concentrated toward the head of the racket. This gives you a lot of mass behind the ball on overhead shots and smashes. This makes the XPLO particularly appealing to players who prioritize power in their racket and prefer a slightly heavier feel in the head.
At the same time, this combination of a high balance point and a relatively firm feel requires good technique. When defending, you need to be able to maneuver the racket well, and it’s less forgiving on less-than-perfect shots than a round or softer racket. For beginners or players primarily seeking comfort, maneuverability, and a large sweet spot, the XPLO is therefore less suitable.
Key Features
The Bullpadel XPLO 2027 features a hybrid head shape, weighs 365–375 grams, is 38 mm thick, has a hitting surface of 507 cm², and a very high balance point of approximately 27 cm. This combination gives the racket its distinctly offensive character and provides significant leverage during powerful shots.
The hitting surface is constructed from carbon, giving the racket a direct and firm response. Combined with the MultiEva core, this creates a dynamic character in which the different EVA densities react to the speed of the stroke. The harder outer layers deliver an explosive response when you accelerate, while the softer inner layer offers more comfort and control during slower strokes.
The Geometric Core reinforces the heart of the racket with double diagonal reinforcements and additional structural support. This reduces torsion and deformation during powerful ball contacts. The CarbonTube construction, made of 100% bidirectionally woven carbon, and the thicker Hexature structure further reinforce the frame for a solid and stable response.
Air Power reduces air resistance during the swing, allowing the racket to move through the air faster despite its high balance. The Wave System adds controlled flexibility to the frame and creates a catapult effect on softer shots, making it easier to put length on the ball even from a defensive position.
The 3D Grain structure provides extra contact with the ball and supports spin play, while Smart Holes optimize the string pattern for the racket’s specific characteristics. Ease Vibe, Vibradrive, and Hesacore help reduce unwanted vibrations and increase comfort. With CustomWeight, experienced players can also further customize the weight and balance.
Feel and Performance
The Bullpadel XPLO 2027 has a medium-firm feel and feels powerful, direct, and solid. The carbon face and the stiffer outer layers of the MultiEva core ensure that the racket responds strongly when you generate speed yourself. Especially on hard volleys, bandejas, and smashes, you get a lot of direct energy transfer and benefit maximally from the very high balance.
On softer shots, the softer MultiEva layer and the Wave System provide extra ball output, but the XPLO clearly remains a racket that performs best when the player actively accelerates the shot. The high balance also demands more from your technique and timing than a lighter or more center-balanced racket.
The Bullpadel XPLO 2027 is therefore particularly well-suited for the experienced offensive player who seeks maximum power, a high balance, and a direct response—and is willing to sacrifice some comfort and forgiveness to achieve it.

Round:Round rackets have a low balance with a large sweet spot (ideal hitting point) in the center of the racket. Round rackets are very maneuverable and offer a lot of control. Perfect for beginners or experienced players who desire a lot of control in their game.
Droplet:Droplet rackets have a slightly higher balance and a slightly smaller sweet spot. This provides an excellent balance between control and power. These versatile rackets are suitable for intermediate players and various playing styles.
Diamond:The balance point is towards the top of the racket and the sweet spot is even smaller. The racket is less maneuverable but offers maximum power. These rackets are suitable for advanced players with an attacking playing style.
Hybrid:Hybrid rackets combine features of droplet and diamond-shaped rackets. These hybrid shapes are often difficult to classify or even completely new. Usually, these rackets offer a mix of power and comfort. These rackets are often ideal for intermediate to advanced players and are accessible for multiple play styles. -
