Born on 24 July 1999 in San Fernando del Valle de Catamarca, Argentina, Agustín Tapia is among the absolute world elite of professional padel. Thanks to his exceptional technique, creativity and ball feel, he is also known as ’El Mozart de Catamarca’.
In 2017, at just 17 years old, Tapia moved to Spain to further develop his professional career together with NOX and guided by coach Pablo Crosetti. He has since reached the world No. 1 ranking. Together with Arturo Coello, he forms one of the most successful and dominant pairs on the professional padel circuit.
Tapia has been linked with NOX for many years and is one of the brand’s key players. He plays with a racket from the renowned NOX AT10 Genius series, developed in collaboration with Tapia and focused on a combination of control, maneuverability and attacking performance.
