The Siux Pegasus Pro 26 in Storm Grey is the more understated of the two versions: a black hitting surface with a silver-grey frame, featuring only the Siux logo at the centre as a small splash of colour. Those who prefer not to play with an eye-catching racket should choose this one.
What type of player is this racket suitable for?
The Pegasus Pro 26 has been developed for advanced and competitive players who base their game on control, stability and precision, with enough power in reserve to accelerate at the right moment. Within the Siux Collection, this is a technical control racket – emphatically not a power-oriented finishing model.
It is particularly suitable for right-handed players at an advanced level who want to organise their game: rallies, defence, lobs and controlled volleys. Left-handed players with an all-round or control-oriented style will also find it works well for them. This racket is less suitable for out-and-out attackers seeking maximum power, and it is not an entry-level or beginners’ model.
How is the racket constructed?
The hybrid to teardrop shape places the sweet spot slightly above the centre, which provides more stability and precision than a round shape, as well as a little more power reserve without losing its controlling character. The balance is in the centre, ensuring the racket remains manageable in both defence and attack.
The hitting surface is constructed from carbon-based materials and has a medium to medium-hard feel: not as hard as a power racket, but noticeably stiffer and more direct than a soft fibreglass model. This provides crisp feedback and high control, with a smaller sweet spot than comfort models. The core is made of EVA rubber with a controlled, relatively stiff response that supports precision and stability whilst providing functional damping.
Playing feel
On court, the racket feels stable, precise and very controlled. In rallies, you play with composure and predictability; when attacking, you accelerate in a controlled manner, drawing on technique and timing. It is less forgiving than softer control models, but rewards clean play with consistency.
