The Lok Be Hype 2 is a padel racket designed for intermediate to advanced players who base their game on control, comfort, and consistency. This model is clearly not a power racket and is not intended for finishing points with raw power. The Be Hype 2 focuses on building the point, smoothness, and a high margin for error. Within the Lok lineup, the Be Hype 2 clearly leans toward control. Compared to the Jungle and Carbon Hype models, this racket is noticeably smoother, more forgiving, and less demanding.
What type of player is this racket suitable for?
The Lok Be Hype 2 is particularly well-suited for right-handed players at the intermediate to advanced levels who want to build and control the point. Players who engage in long rallies and rely on placement, lobs, and controlled volleys will get the most out of this racket.
For left-handed players who base their game on smashes and finishing shots, this racket is less suitable. The Be Hype 2 does not support explosive power and is not intended for a finishing role.
Key Features
The round to slightly hybrid shape provides a low and centrally positioned sweet spot. This enhances control and forgiveness, especially with less-than-perfect contact. The balance is low to medium, making the racket maneuverable and providing stability in defensive situations.
The racquet face is constructed from fiberglass combined with carbon and has a soft to medium feel. The face is clearly not stiff. Due to the lower carbon concentration and greater flex, the racquet offers excellent ball feel and comfort but delivers little direct power on hard shots. The core consists of soft EVA rubber, which enhances the racket’s comfortable feel and effectively dampens vibrations.
