De Babolat Lamborghini Blue is de blauwe uitvoering van het BL.003-model uit de samenwerking tussen Babolat en Automobili Lamborghini. Het blad heeft een heldere, licht metallic blauwe afwerking waarin het reliefpatroon van kleine Y-vormen in wit oplicht, met daaroverheen de zwarte carbonbaan en het Automobili Lamborghini-schild. Onderaan het blad staat de modelaanduiding BL.003.
Dit racket is geen allround of comfortabel model. De Babolat Lamborghini is een high-end performance racket, ontworpen voor spelers met een sterke techniek die exact weten wat ze doen.
Voor welk type speler is dit racket geschikt
De Babolat Lamborghini is vooral geschikt voor linkerkantspelers op gevorderd tot pro niveau die het punt willen domineren en afronden met krachtige smashes, agressieve volleys en snelle overheads. Spelers die het initiatief nemen en veel vanuit aanval spelen halen het maximale uit dit racket.
Daarnaast kan het racket ook gebruikt worden door rechterkantspelers met een zeer aanvallende speelstijl, die bewust kiezen voor power boven comfort. Het racket is geschikt voor dames en heren, maar uitsluitend voor spelers met voldoende kracht en techniek.
Belangrijkste eigenschappen
De diamantvorm zorgt voor een hoog geplaatste sweetspot, wat maximale ondersteuning biedt bij aanvallende slagen en smashes. De balans ligt duidelijk topgericht, wat extra massa en impact genereert bij volle swings, maar het racket minder vergevingsgezind maakt. Het racket weegt ongeveer 360 gram, met een balans tussen 265 en 270 millimeter en een profieldikte van 38 millimeter.
Het slagvlak is opgebouwd uit 3K carbon, een weefsel van drieduizend carbonfilamenten per streng, en heeft een hard bladgevoel. Het blad is stug en extreem direct, met een zeer korte balcontacttijd. Dit levert hoge balsnelheid en maximale precisie op bij zuiver contact, maar vraagt om perfecte timing. Dit is duidelijk een hard racket, met alle bijbehorende eigenschappen: veel power, maar minder comfort en een kleinere sweetspot.
De kern combineert Multi-EVA-schuim met Koridion, een gepatenteerd stug schuim dat Babolat ontleende aan de carbon motorkappen van Lamborghini. Die combinatie versterkt de directe respons en beperkt energieverlies. Trillingsdemping is functioneel aanwezig, maar comfort is niet het uitgangspunt van dit model.
Speelgevoel en prestaties
Op de baan voelt de Babolat Lamborghini keihard, explosief en extreem precies aan. Bij smashes en aanvallende slagen komt de bal met veel snelheid en impact van het racket. In snelle rally's en verdedigende situaties is het racket minder vergevingsgezind en vraagt het om een stabiele techniek en goede positionering. Off-center contact wordt nauwelijks gecorrigeerd.
De Babolat Lamborghini is daarmee een uitgesproken keuze voor spelers die een exclusief, hard en powergericht topsegment racket zoeken, gericht op maximale aanval en directe respons, en die bewust comfort en foutvergevingsgezindheid ondergeschikt maken aan prestaties.
Kleur en uitvoering
Waar de witte uitvoering het reliefpatroon vrijwel verbergt, maakt de blauwe het juist zichtbaar: de Y-vormen lichten in wit op tegen het blauwe blad en vormen daarmee het meest herkenbare detail van deze versie. De zwarte carbonbaan, hals en grip blijven identiek aan de andere BL.003-uitvoering, waardoor alleen het slagvlak van kleur verschilt.
