This model is the most demanding version in the Fenix line and is clearly designed for players who want to finish the point at the net and with overheads, not to build up the game calmly.
The Fenix Pro 5 is not an all-round racket, nor is it a comfortable model. It is a pure power racket with a technically and physically demanding character.
For which type of player is this racket suitable
The Siux Fenix Pro 5 is primarily intended for left-handed players at advanced to pro level who want to play dominantly with smashes, viboras, and aggressive volleys. Players who take the initiative, put pressure on their opponents, and want to decide the point will get the most out of this racket.
This racket is not suitable for right-handed players who mainly organize the game, play a lot of rallies, and seek control. It is also not a logical choice for players with a lower level or an injury-prone arm.
Key features
The diamond shape provides a high sweet spot, which offers maximum support for attacking shots and overheads. The balance is clearly top-oriented, which helps to generate extra speed and impact on smashes.
The hitting surface is made of high-quality carbon (12K structure) and has a hard feel. The blade is stiff, direct, and unforgiving, with very short ball contact time. This provides maximum power and precision on clean hits, but requires perfect timing and technique. Compared to the Fenix Elite, this blade is clearly harder and more direct.
The core consists of stiff EVA rubber, which enhances the explosive character of the racket. Vibration damping is present, but comfort is secondary to performance and power.
