The Adidas Adizero Ubersonic 5 M Black is a high-performance shoe designed for maximum speed and instant response. This version is black with metallic grey accents; Adidas describes the colourway as Core Black / Zero Metallic / Grey Two. It is the clay court version of the Ubersonic 5, weighing approximately 365 grams.
The upper consists of lightweight, reinforced mesh with synthetic reinforcements that securely envelop the foot for extra stability during lateral movements. Adituff abrasion protection is incorporated into the toe cap to minimise wear caused by sliding. The midsole features Lightstrike cushioning, which ensures a low weight and immediate energy return, whilst the Speedframe outsole locks the heel firmly in place during explosive changes of direction.
