Head Motion Team 1.5 Padel White/Blueberry
The Head Motion Team 1.5 Padel occupies the mid-range of the Head Motion range: a padel shoe that you can wear throughout a whole week of training without compromising on grip or stability. In the White/Blueberry version, almost the entire shoe is off-white, including the midsole and outsole. The only colour accents are the blueberry-blue Head logo on the side, the blue lace guides on the instep and the coloured brand label on the tongue.
Underfoot is a cushioned EVA midsole featuring a 3D torsion shaft and a 3D TPU midfoot plate. Head keeps the heel-to-toe drop minimal and raises the toe box slightly, ensuring a low and fast roll-off. The upper has been redesigned for this 1.5 generation: lightweight and breathable mesh, comfortable lining materials, a padded tongue and extra protection on the toe box and the inner side of the forefoot. The midfoot straps of the Head Lockdown Strap are integrated into the lacing system and secure your foot to the sole. The outsole is made from the HyBrasion Plus rubber compound and features a 360-degree tread pattern that Head has tested in collaboration with court supplier MONDO.

Yes. Head cites comfort and cushioning as the main benefits of this model. The cushioned EVA midsole absorbs the impact of the sudden stops, split steps and changes of direction required in padel, and this remains noticeable right through to the end of a long match. Head does not specify a heel-to-toe drop in millimetres for this model, stating only that the height difference between the heel and forefoot has been deliberately kept small.
Stability and grip of the Head Motion Team 1.5 Padel White/Blueberry
Stability comes from three components working together: the 3D TPU midfoot plate and the torsion shaft keep the shoe rigid during sharp turns, whilst Lateral Control technology reinforces the side of the sole so you’re less likely to tip over when lunging. The grip comes from the 360-degree sole profile, which supports multi-directional movements and, according to Head, is suitable for various padel surfaces; this profile has been tested with MONDO, the official padel surface supplier to Premier Padel. Drift Defense adds a wear-resistant layer over the toe and forefoot area – the part of the shoe that wears out first during toe drags.
