The Bullpadel Ionic 25I is the stability model from Bullpadel’s Stabilab range, developed in collaboration with young talents Pablo Cardona and Alex Arroyo. This version features two shades of blue: a dark blue base overlaid with a light blue jacquard camouflage print that runs primarily across the midfoot and instep. The IONIC lettering is outlined in white, the midsole is white, and an orange strip featuring the inscription ‘BULL STABILIZER’ runs along the outer edge. The outsole itself is grey. Bullpadel markets this colourway under the name ‘Azul Oscuro’.
Who is the Bullpadel Ionic 25I Dark Blue suitable for?
Bullpadel has designed the Ionic 25I for players who need firm support and want to improve their game on the court. Stability is the key performance feature the brand itself associates with this model, and alongside the Stabilab range, the shoe also forms part of the Next range aimed at the brand’s younger players.
The hybrid outsole has been deliberately designed to be versatile and, according to Bullpadel, is suitable for all court types, with a preference for courts with little sand. If, on the other hand, you’re looking for a shoe that’s as light and fast as possible, the Fastlab models are a better fit.
What is the fit like for the Bullpadel Ionic 25I Dark Blue?

The upper is largely thermally welded rather than stitched, which reduces the number of seams and results in a smoother interior. The Toughtoe reinforcement in the toe box absorbs the friction that occurs in that very spot when playing padel, and the Breathmesh upper allows air to circulate through the shoe during longer sessions.
Does the Bullpadel Ionic 25I Dark Blue feature extra cushioning?
Bullpadel does not specify a cushioning level for the Ionic 25I, but does mention two components that add cushioning. The Stitch Insole is a textile-reinforced EVA insole attached to the upper via a Strobel seam, thereby making direct contact with the midsole; according to the brand, this provides extra cushioning, stability and comfort. In addition, the Lateral Movement channel in the sole absorbs lateral movement in a controlled manner after landing, providing additional cushioning during lateral foot strikes. The EVA is incorporated into the insole; however, Bullpadel does not disclose the material used for the midsole.
Stability and grip of the Bullpadel Ionic 25I Dark Blue
The Hybrid 360 outsole combines different geometries and tread depths to balance grip and agility. The Flex Rift channels – rubber-free transverse grooves in the flex zone – allow the foot to roll more naturally, whilst the Sole Shield raises the sole along the sides and the toe to ensure that areas prone to abrasion remain protected. Together with the wide sole base, this delivers the stable performance that Bullpadel positions this model for.
