De Stiga Cybershape 18K 2 is een padelracket dat is ontwikkeld voor gevorderde tot competitieve spelers die een direct, stabiel en technisch racket zoeken met een duidelijke focus op controle en precisie bij hoog tempo. Dit model is de doorontwikkeling van de originele 18K Cybershape en biedt een nog strakker en consistenter balgevoel, zonder het extreem veeleisende karakter van de Hard-varianten.
De Cybershape 18K 2 is geen instapracket en ook geen uitgesproken comfortmodel. Het is een performance-allround racket, bedoeld voor spelers die hun spel onder controle hebben en vanuit rust willen domineren.

De Stiga Cybershape 18K 2 is vooral geschikt voor rechterkantspelers op gevorderd tot competitief niveau die sterk zijn in rally’s, verdediging, lobs en gecontroleerde opbouw. Spelers die het spel lezen, tempo beheersen en fouten willen minimaliseren halen het maximale uit dit racket.
Daarnaast is dit racket ook goed inzetbaar voor linkerkantspelers met een allround speelstijl, die wel willen aanvallen maar niet afhankelijk zijn van maximale smashkracht. Het racket is geschikt voor zowel dames als heren met een solide techniek en voldoende slagcontrole.
Belangrijkste eigenschappen
De Cybershape-vorm zorgt voor een ongeveer 20 procent grotere sweetspot dan bij traditionele ronde rackets. Deze sweetspot ligt hoger en verder naar buiten in het blad, wat extra zekerheid geeft bij slagen dicht bij het glas, verdedigende ballen en snelle volleys. De balans ligt medium, wat zorgt voor een stabiel en goed controleerbaar racket in alle fases van het spel.
Het slagvlak is opgebouwd uit 18K carbon en heeft een medium tot medium-hard bladgevoel. Het blad is duidelijk direct en strak, maar minder stug dan bij de 18K Hard-varianten. Dit resulteert in een korte maar beheersbare balcontacttijd, met veel feedback en precisie zonder dat het racket te oncomfortabel wordt.
De kern bestaat uit Performance Foam, wat zorgt voor een levendige respons en stabiliteit bij hogere balsnelheden, terwijl het racket controle en vertrouwen behoudt in langere rally’s.
Het frame is opgebouwd uit het 360 Carbon Frame, volledig van carbon, wat zorgt voor duurzaamheid, stabiliteit en een consistent balcontact, ook bij intensief wedstrijdgebruik.
Speelgevoel en prestaties
Op de baan voelt de Stiga Cybershape 18K 2 strak, stabiel en zeer gecontroleerd aan. In rally’s speel je met veel precisie en rust, terwijl het racket goed reageert bij snelle exchanges en verdedigende situaties. Wanneer je versnelt, levert het racket voldoende snelheid en directe feedback, zonder het agressieve en veeleisende karakter van de Hard-modellen. Off-center contact wordt beter vergeven dan bij de 18K Hard-uitvoeringen, maar minder dan bij de 1.3K- of 3K-modellen.
